Ideas for Preschoolers:

Dinosaur Museum

We took some preschoolers to the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum in Utah.  It was really fun to learn about the dinosaurs and they had a lot of fun activities for kids to do there.

There was a large stuffed dinosaur body and different body parts with velcro on the back that the kids could put on the body where they belonged.

Fossil rubbing.

There was a large trough full of sand, water and plastic dinosaur toys that the kids could play in, build, dig up dinosaurs etc.

Lots of caves and nooks to explore.

Plastic dinosaurs to play with.

 Dinosaur shape match puzzle.

At the very end there were large enclosed areas full of sand that the kids could go in and dig for dinosaur bones with their own shovels and brushes.
