Before Kindergarten a child should be able to:
- Recognize numbers from 1-10.
- Count to ten.
- Count objects in one-to-one correspondence.
- Understand more and less.
Start teaching your preschooler to count by counting out loud everything you see! In the car, at the store and all around the house, count, count, count! Here are a bunch of other free activities, games and books to help you both succeed with this skill.
